Hippos are especially territorial and can become aggressive towards crocodiles in their territory, and vice versa. However, crocodiles are known to be cautious around hippos due to their size and strength. In some cases, hippos have been observed chasing off crocodiles from their territory, while crocodiles have been known to prey on young or injured hippos. �
