I had an opportunity to attend a Ghanaian funeral and I have to say I absolutely love (if one can say that about funerals at all) the way Ghanians celebrate the life of the deceased family member. During wake keeping as a sign of respect to the dead people gather and dance! Non stop the whole night! Compared to our western funerals that are often so sad and mostly only concentrate to the loss, in Ghana after the mourning all the good and fun times are also remembered and the life of deceased one
