🚫💦 There is no need to wash meat before you cook it. Washing meat will not eliminate bacteria on the surface. Putting raw meat in the sink increases the chances of contaminating the sink and surrounding counter with bacteria that may splash up off the meat. Other cleaning chemicals in and around the sink could potentially contaminate the meat. Cooking meat thoroughly will kill bacteria so there is no need to try to wash it off. Wouldn’t trade this farm life for anything. We felt some of the effects from the hurricane all the way up here in Indiana—lots of wind and rain for a couple of days.
