How Beeswax Candles Are Made

Make your own beeswax candles! 🕯️ Most candles release toxins into the air due to paraffin wax and/or synthetic fragrance. No thanks! 😝 Beeswax candles are a nontoxic alternative made from (believe it or not) beeswax and coconut oil. They’re super easy to make at home! You’ll also need cotton candle wicks, clean glass containers, pencils or dowel rods to keep the wicks in place as the candles harden, and a double boiler (I use an 8-cup glass measuring cup hooked over a large pot.)
