Farming tip: make a little profit from pruning your fig trees! We trim back our fig trees so they are easier to harvest. Save the cuttings and root them in pots. Keep slightly moist, just as you would seeds that need to germinate. It takes 2-3 months for roots to form, and then the leaves start to grow. Voilà! New fig trees for you to plant or sell. Basement laundry room project part 2!!The majority of you said to paint the trim and I agree, so that’s what we did! We use the color cocoon by Sherwin-Williams and painted the baseboards and the door casings. Instead of painting the ceiling the same color we opted to do ceiling molding and painted that to match!
