Your question, ANSWERED! Should you put ice in your tequila? Unlike bourbon, most tequila is 40% ABV (80-proof) so water has already been added, before bottling. So, unless your tequila is overproof, you don't need to add ice. But, if you want to add a little ice to your tequila, you do you.
