Advice on satellite dishes that can pick up free Euro TV?
2004年1月28日 · I was wondering if anyone has any knowledge on satellite dishes that can pick up free European channels, that you would normally pay to view via Sky and alike? For example the big fights, premiership games etc.. Are the legal to buy and use? Any companies that install these "stand alone" systems. Any advice welcome. thank you.
Connecting two satellite dishes to a TV with dual tuners
2014年1月18日 · I have a recent Samsung F8000 TV with dual freesat tuners - one input is labeled "Satellite main", another - "Satellite sub". Cables from 2 LNBs go into them and PIP works fine with channels from Astra 28E. I want to use the second "Satellite sub" input with another dish (Hotbird 13E) to be able to watch more programs, from two satellites.
Just how sensitive is position/direction to a satellite dish?

2010年4月18日 · From the original post from the way I read it, the OP has two dishes; one older one that its LNB replaced 5 years ago by Sky when he had Sky HD. That should have a universal LNB and should work with most Freesat boxes and even TVs (assuming the cable goes to the place you want it).

2009年1月14日 · The easiest way is to look at Satellite Finder / Dish Pointing Calculator with Google Maps | DishPointer.com and select satellite 28.2E Astra which is what SKY and freesat use, this will then give you a good idea if your dishes are pointing in the right direction, or just get a compass and see if it is pointing 28.2 degrees, basically south east ish.
