I want to find a fake Christmas tree that looks real enough to make him think it's real. The hinge point in my search this far has not been the branches or needles but the absurdly narrow aluminum trunks. Does anyone know a fake Xmas tree whose trunk is thick enough, and ideally with a bark finish, that can pass for real?

Last year I did replace the one that was 17 years old. 2 strings of incandescent lights finally burned out and I didn't want to try to take them off because they were on there REALLY WELL.
