It seems very interesting to me that the Black Monolith generation is an 8 button code and the "solution" is a 7 button code, while there are 8 sets of concentric squares but only 7 that can be seen in-game because of first-person view being disabled in the Fractal room.

Most of the cheesy strategies were patched IRC: After retreating you don't have time to properly heal and repair, because enemies will respawn after some time You can't get quests for Black monolith/Goblin fortress anymore.

2020年5月29日 · The Monolith has 3 groups of enemy, this is how I generally call them: 1st wave: the group of about 14 Legionaries and and 4-5 Honor Guards +6 Necrosavants in front of your team. 2nd wave: the group of about 12 mostly Honor Guards and the Boss in the Northeast corner. The Priests: the 3 Ancient Priests and of theirs 5 Honor Body Guards .

2021年5月5日 · I tried Black Monolith again, 2 tanks, 1 legendary billhok, 7 2handed hammers, 1 legendary 2 handed sword and sargeant. Every 2 hammer dudes and sword have between 83 and 99 mAtk. Yet i can't seem to kill stuff quickly, hammers keep missing with 60-85% of hit chance. Highest dmg dealer is still the 2handed sword user cause hammers miss too much.

I didn't even know, they existed, and thought maybe it was a bug, that some rooms wasn't completed. Anyway... I just can't get over a thing, that black monolith puzzle was brute forced. 2022年1月17日 · Success with the black monolith usually relies on splitting the huge force of 47 that you're up against. The key is to distract the units coming from the top of the map with a dedicated tank (traits like deathwish are really good for this role, as are perks like lone wolf).

Final challenge is Black Monolith - I tried it twice last night and was destroyed both times. Looking for general thoughts on strategy, specific weapons that work best, any potion suggestions, etc.
