Wegmans used to be truly leagues above other grocery stores. But slowly I feel the experience has dwindled. With COVID, and then the recent inflation, this has accelerated. It used to be I only needed to go to Wegmans (plus local butchers, farmers markets) and was perfectly content. But now there's just some stuff I just can't get at Wegmans.

The Wegmans in the city isn't representative of the Wegmans in the suburbs. It's nice, but it doesn't represent what makes Wegmans special. The main benefit is that they carry literally everything. It's like a luxury high quality grocery store, except they also have all the "normal" products that a place like Whole Foods doesn't carry.

2022年12月21日 · Wegmans delivery is powered by Instacart, they process the payment for online orders (curbside or delivery) and their employees shop and deliver the order. Curbside orders are shopped by Wegmans employees but Instacart processes the payment.
