2024年1月13日 · First, I tested my luck with the external drive on the Xbox and under managed storage devices, it appeared to be formatted for pictures, music, and video only (labeled EFI). I then formatted the SSD on my computer to exFAT, but it is showing the same thing in storage devices when I connected it back to the Xbox and restarted the console.

2020年11月14日 · Got my Xbox Series X setup and hooked up my Xbox branded external 12TB WD_Black D10 Game Drive HDD to play all my back catalogue. It all works fine, but when I turn the xbox off the HDD keeps spinning up for 5 or so seconds every minute or so and never goes to sleep. It is very irritating and noisy, and cannot be good for the drive.

2021年4月24日 · 1. 2 USB 3.0 Drives. 2. 8TB per drive. 3. upto 16TB of external storage across 2 drives. I used to use 8TB for xbox games and 4TB for the 360 games. this has not changed on the series i believe as they are using the same software.

2022年7月16日 · You can have up to 3 external hard drives/ssd on the Series X|S and Xbox One. Each hard drive/ssd can have a minimum capacity of 128 GB and a maximum of 16 TB. If you try more than that, then it's more than likely you will get data corruption.

2021年1月1日 · Well that didn't solve the issue. I turned the Series X on and there was the pop up message about disconnected external capture drive and it setting it to internal. It's weird because I check in my games and apps then storage and it shows the external drive is set as capture but then I go into capture settings and it shows the internal.

2019年6月16日 · Hey battelfront The best way would be to fully power down your console by holding the power button on the console for then unplugging the power cord for 2-3 minutes. Then unplug your external hard drive and power back up.

2021年10月16日 · So the hard drive is working fine on the xbox one and the laptop. So I dont believe it is the hard drive. 2 weeks ago it worked fine on the xbox series x Now it isnt even appearing as plugged in anymore. Only shows my gaming hard drive as plugged in. I've changed plugs. I've changed which ones is plugged into.

2018年10月15日 · The hard drive works just fine when I plug it into my pc. and yes my hard drive plugs into the wall as well into the xbox with a usb port. Ive also restarted, power cycled, name it and ive done it, even messed with the setting in system where you de select the option to power off external memory when the console shuts off. Some Help would be great.
