2023年12月28日 · I don't like bloom on, actually on my monitor with HDR on I disable all the post processing effects. Looks way more realistic. Maybe someone will created a better sun texture that's a little softer around the edges for us who don't use bloom.

2016年2月13日 · I put the simple sun mod and the enb sky textures in the required folders and it all looks fantastic through dawn to dusk, by far the most realistic I've seen in P3D yet. However I did a flight at night last night and the clouds were absolutely glowing white aswell as the mist. As soon as I remove the mods it goes back to how it should be.

2018年7月25日 · Open 'Show Art Controls' and look up 'sun' and find sun_gain_1_hdr and sun_gain_2_hdr. The first should be changed from .8 to 1.0 and the second should be changed from 1.6 to 1.8. The second one is more important here because it makes the sun texture brighter so it wont look odd against a bright sunny texture at sunset.

The original idea was kind of different of what you see here; the problem is that FSX, apparently, has a limited number of lens flare "elements" that are shown on screen -- so it's not exactly possible to do a sofisticated lens flare effect.

Open the file and change the "SunSize" value to something lower.

2019年1月22日 · Like the above reply said, REX can help develop the sky textures, and the sun somewhat changes in those sky changes. I don't believe there is a way to vary the sun texture/color just as in real life, the sun doesn't actually change colors. The color wavelengths are just scattered when closer to the horizon due to terrain and air particles.
