Movements around the terminals are easy to spot. One of the best spotting hotels. Rooms facing the airport on the top three floors overlook the eastern end of the airport and runway 27L. Most movements can be seen regardless of runway direction, and nearer aircraft photographed (albeit through triple-glazed glass).

Novotel Heathrow T1 T2 and T3. The Novotel London Heathrow Airport T1 T2 and T3 on Bath Road opened a plane spotting deck in August 2020. Located on the fourth floor, it overlooks the northern runway 09L/27R. Photos will be through glass windows. It is open from 4am to 10pm.
