Nov 9, 2004 · Directv uses 101 for the single round dish for Ka they use locations 2 degrees either side of 101 (99 & 103). If you were using 101 it is hard to believe that you couldn't see the 2 Ka satellites. If you used the 3 LNB oval for D* you looked at 101/110 & 119 the 110 and 119 locations are shared with DISH Network so you could have problems ...

Jun 9, 2010 · Suggestions would be to move dish to the west and lower the elevation, assuming there is a second location for 110 and 119. The funny thing is that my meter shows three satellite feeds in western spot, but my suspicion is the third signal is not 129. The accutrac III + does not identify the satellites by name.

Jan 19, 2012 · If the receiver is leased then you would need to complete the Dish Network Account Update form. Here is a link to the FAQ on this program. While it does say they offer the 211k with tailgaiter for this program it also says in the FAQ that you can use a dual tuner receiver. RV Solutions - DISH Network

Jan 31, 2005 · Well the best way would to use the point dish screen on your receiver. Menu 6-1-1 Put in your zip and it will give you the azimuth and elevation for your dish. When you go up on the roof, you want to have a compass to get the dish in the general direction, also set the elevation acording to your number.

Nov 26, 2019 · I have currenlty have a Dish subscription and am able to get decent signal to 110 and 119 for all SD and HD channels. Where we are located (45385), we have crappy DSL interne and was investigating HughesNet. Can anyone tell me if the satellite pointing is similar between the two? I don't know what satellite(s) to look for for the info.

Apr 26, 2011 · A "Official" dish rep came to our buisness and said we could add a receiver to the account and that we would be able to have the same progrmamming that we have at home at the buisness. I am sure this is possible, but legal I don't think so. Can some one clear this up as my wife says that it is possible beacause the guy is from "dish".

Jan 19, 2012 · Just put up a dish at the other location.....And keep it quiet. Dish considers "weekend" or "vacation homes" a second residence and therefore require an additional account. Its crap but, it is Dish policy.

Jun 30, 2023 · Exactly, way back when, I had WA dish but our HD locals were on 61.5 so I had the 110/119/129 setup plus a wing dish on 61.5 and it really confused the Hopper trying to figure out which channels to use for PTAT (It usually recorded only CBS and NBC). Dish finally just gave me an EA setup with 61.5 and 72.7 and solved the mess.

May 14, 2014 · You can not have receivers active at two locations and stay in the terms of the customer agreement. If caught, they'll disable the receivers that are not at your location. As a Dish employee, my opinions are my own, and do not represent my employer.
