2025年1月10日 · This just started today but I'm receiving and I guess sending this whole string of chinese letters and symbols in responses to people emailing me from craigslist. I've sent test emails to my other email accounts and those come through fine but when people are replying or sending me emails through craigslist i'm getting these messages.

I have checked and updated the region in control panel and copied the settings to lock screen and even ticked the new use box, as suggested by other solutions.

2021年7月2日 · For whatever reason, there seems to be an issue where outlook will convert plaintext URLs such as the ones Facebook stores its images in, into Chinese text in some circumstances. It may have something to do with special characters. I was pretty concerned I'd been hacked until I realized what I'd done and saw what it was doing.
Spurious Chinese characters appearing in sent Emails
2019年6月11日 · When I send an Email it is converted into a small number of Chinese looking characters. There appears no logic to the length of the original mail or to whom I am sending it. The issue appears to be related to my PC rather than which address I send it from (Windows 10, running Office 365).
