Is this printer engineered well enough to provide for a quick reset button or something like that? If you are going to tell me to take it to a service center then advise me as to the location of a service center in the Philadelphia, PA area. Please advise also as the approximate basic charge for a service center to do a look-see of a printer.

2021年1月24日 · If the behavior persists and you cannot get the printer to initialize (start normally), it will need service or will have to be replaced. If its under warranty, or you want it repaired, contact Canon. 1-800-652-2666. You may find however, that replacement is less expensive since the cost of shipping can be high.

2023年11月13日 · You can try performing a reset of the printer. While the printer is on, unplug the power cord from the printer. While the power is off, press the power button 5 times. After 60 seconds plug the power cord back in and power on the printer. Should the issue persists, the printer would need to be replaced.

2019年2月13日 · While the printer is on, unplug the power cord from the printer and let it sit for 60 seconds. While the power is off, press the power button 5 times. After 60 seconds plug the power cord back in and power on the printer. If the still appears, the printer will need to be replaced since repair service is no longer provided for this model.
