2024年1月31日 · For the first time in the history of the U.S. Space Force, a Guardian is set to launch into space on a NASA mission to the International Space Station. U.S. Space Force Col. Nick Hague will serve as the pilot on NASA’s Space X Crew-9 mission aboard the Dragon spacecraft that will take him and his crewmates to the International Space Station.

2024年10月3日 · On Dec. 20, 2019, the U.S. Space Force was established, creating the first new branch of the U.S. armed services in 73 years. The need for a separate, space-oriented branch of service was driven by the quickly evolving space domain, and a growing threat posed by near-peer competitors in space.

The Space Force organizes, trains and equips personnel in order to protect U.S. and allied interests in space and to provide space capabilities to the joint forces. To that end, the Space Force manages space launch operations at the East and West Coast Space Launch Deltas.

We are the nation’s space intelligence center - providing progressive, predictive, and pioneering intelligence to outwit, out-reach and win in and through the space domain; protecting America and its allies in space now and into the future.

With allies and partners, U.S. Space Forces - Indo-Pacific enhances stability in the Indo-Pacific region by promoting interoperability and integration from planning and programming through fielding and execution to respond to contingencies, deter aggression, and maintain space superiority in pursuit of a free and open Indo-Pacific.
