Honestly hard to come up with just 10 because there are so few good horror movies. I tend to rate horror movies based on a few factors. Mostly based on how likely I think it is to scare someone / how much fear it can induce.

Tbh I’ve seen a lot of horror movies and I couldn’t get to 10 that truly scared me and stand the rest of time to this day, but these 5 all messed me up and had me sleeping with the lights on especially Sinister and The Grudge those two gave me nightmares for days

Those top three are relatively tame (mostly) on the gore front but are just absolutely deranged and very hard watches Some middle ground movies to check out, these are a bit more gory but all very disturbing “The Woman” (2011), its sequel “Darlin” (2019) “Raw” (2017)

2021年8月26日 · I'd suggest picking 2-3 out of each and that way you can get some good variety. Also, bear in mind that alot of these movies can fit into multiple categories, but I tried to pick the closest/best fit IMO, and trying to keep it limited to 5 per category. Totally understandable! Some movies that I’d say are on that same level of gore would be: Dead Alive Evil Dead (2013) The hatchet movies But there’s also less gory movies that I have trouble watching because it’s much more grounded in reality and often times just mean spirited.
