Pokémon the Movie: The Rise of Darkrai[a] is a 2007 Japanese animated fantasy adventure film produced by OLM, Inc. and distributed by Toho. The film was directed by Kunihiko Yuyama and written by Hideki Sonoda. It is the tenth animated installment in the Pokémon film series created by Satoshi Tajiri, Junichi Masuda and Ken Sugimori.

The most recent film, Pokémon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle, was originally set for release in Japanese theaters on July 10, 2020, but delayed to December 25, 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was released on October 8, 2021, in the United States.

With Rica Matsumoto, Ikue Ôtani, Yûji Ueda, Megumi Toyoguchi. An idyllic town is thrown into chaos when two powerful Pokémon, Dialga and Palkia, cross paths and battle, distorting the dimensions of time and space. The only hope comes from Darkrai, a shadowy Pokémon shunned by the townsfolk.

With the help of their new friends, Alice (Craig Blair) and Tonio (Koji Ishizaka), the kids battle the evil Pokémon Darkrai while the inter-dimensional battle threatens to engulf them all. Between them, the Pokémon Palkia and Dialga can warp both space and time.
