The NRL, National Rugby League is the greatest league in the world for this particular sport, and it plays host to teams from Australia and one New Zealand team. I love what EA Sports has done with the FIFA franchise, and I am confident that if there was a game of even near this quality revenue would be generated, as it is well loved in Australia.

A rugby game wouldn't be a new concept to EA. They made Rugby games all the way up until 2007/2008-odd. More people would be attracted to rugby, as it would get more people to be interested in rugby; Despite what some say, I believe that it would do ok financially, as the rugby fanbase isn't as small as people make it out to be.

The last good Rugby worth playing for more than a day was Rugby 08, and coincidentally it was made by EA. There has been attempts by other small companies and some have been all right (Rugby Challenge 3), but none of them have the professional look and great flowing feel as I feel EA Sports could once again pull off.
