After re-signing two-time All-Star guard Kelsey Mitchell to keep the team's elite backcourt together, the Indiana Fever have agreed to a deal with free agent forward Natasha Howard, according to Alexa Philippou.

The Indiana Fever expect to sign forward Natasha Howard when free agency opens, adding a two-time All-Star to a lineup already featuring three All-Stars including point guard Caitlin Clark, a person familiar with the deal tells The Associated Press.

Natasha Howard is expected to sign with the Indiana Fever. After the news surfaced, Howard shared a reaction to re-signing with the team that she made her WNBA debut with. “It feels good to be back where I started,” Howard wrote on X, formerly Twitter. Howard has enjoyed a strong career at the WNBA level.

Natasha Howard is headed back to “where all my dreams came true.” The three-time WNBA champion is set to return to Indiana on a free-agent deal, according to ESPN. Her arrival adds to a Fever core that features Caitlin Clark, Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell.

Two-time All-Star guard Kelsey Mitchell opted to reunite with Clark by re-upping with the franchise that drafted her No. 2 overall in 2018.

The Fever are bringing Natasha Howard back to Indianapolis, per a report from ESPN. Indiana originally picked Howard from the draft in 2014.
