Snow moved in and obscured a path, causing eight hikers to lose their way. A Yavapai County search and rescue team brought them to safety on Jan. 28.

Two hiking groups were rescued as snow fell in Sedona on Tuesday afternoon, the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office said.
