A Catawba father and son were arrested and charged with trafficking drugs after a traffic stop for a regulatory violation.

Gregory Shawn Kain and his son, 27-year-old Spencer Shawn Kain, both from the same address on Caldwell Road in Newton, have been arrested by Catawba County Sheriff’s Officers.
