NASA’s stuck astronaut steps out on a spacewalk after 7 months in orbit Credit: NASA Watch live as one of NASA’s two stranded astronauts, Suni Williams, steps out on her first spacewalk since arriving at the International Space Station more than seven months ago.

The two astronauts have a busy day ahead of them. Hague and Williams will "patch light leaks in the NICER X-ray telescope, then ready the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer for future upgrades," NASA officials wrote in a Jan. 15 blog post.
