The man Des Moines police officers shot during a felony warrant check Friday afternoon has died, according to the department.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office and area fire departments are investigating the cause of the fire that damaged houseboats at the marina Wednesday.

Central Iowa fire crews battled a large fire of at least 10 houseboats in the Saylorville Marina. There were no injuries, according to officials.
