Yes to water bottle, sunscreen, water shoes (or sneakers you don’t mind getting dirty/wet). There won’t really be much of a chance to swim, or at least wasn’t on our trip; you could …

Yes to water bottle, sunscreen, water shoes (or sneakers you don’t mind getting dirty/wet). There won’t really be much of a chance to swim, or at least wasn’t on our trip; you could ask if there will be on yours. They also did have sunscreen. If you have hiking-type, quick-dry pants, they are ideal. And yes, pickup,and drop-off are at the office in Terlingua. Hope you have a wonderful trip!

I know that they do 1/2 day tours. As I recall, they don't go through Santa Elena Canyon. If possible I would recommend taking the whole day tour through the canyon.

I think your loved ones will do fine in either a full or half day RAFT trip. I wouldn’t suggest the canoes. We went on the full day raft trip and the water was high with a strong current. …

I think your loved ones will do fine in either a full or half day RAFT trip. I wouldn’t suggest the canoes. We went on the full day raft trip and the water was high with a strong current. It was and felt safe, sturdy and smooth. If Doug is still there, ask for him as your guide!
