A group of us are in Benidorm soon and are all wanting to visit the cross. However, we have a few elderly relatives with us who will struggle with the walk. Is it possible to drive up? How close can you get by car/taxi? Thanks in advance for any info

Yes you can drive up to it ,but the last bit is steep and bit of a dirt track very uneven can be managed with help tho
You can get most of the way but to get to the cross itself it's a dirt path with steps. I would guess 50 metres or so of dirt path and possibly 30 steps

We walked all along Levante beach to the end pass McDonalds to start going up the hill. There was one small sign to the Cross then nothing. We took the wrong road going more to the right and ended up on a lovely walk to the watchtower (highly recommended) then came back and found the right route more to the left and going sharply and steeply up the hill. Hard going in the heat but not too far.
