Wildlife Habitat Port Douglas is an award-winning attraction where visitors can get up close to a range of iconic Australian animals in their recreated natural environments. Consisting of four unique habitats; rainforest, wildlife, savannah and woodlands, visitors are able to wander at their own leisure or join a guided wildlife tour. Guests can hand feed wallabies and kangaroos, cuddle and have their photo taken with a koala. For something more daring, you can Swim With The Salties in the new CrocArena and walk the world's first "Predator Plank" over crocodile filled waters. Wildlife Habitat is also home to the endangered Cassowary and Lumholtz's Tree Kangaroo. Guests can enjoy Breakfast With The Birds and Lunch With the Lorikeets.

You must be travelling in some sort of transport ,leave them in your car,it’s a wildlife habitat,not a hotel.

My husband, his father and I will be up this way in June. Is it a suitable place to take my father in law? He is able to walk but not long distances, so it would be good to know if there are plenty of seats or benches around the park, or would be just have to sit in the cafe?

yeah will be fine :) the enclosures aren’t too big either so doesn’t involve a great deal of walking. there quite a few benches around to rest on as well
