Unable to book on the official website as every one of my bank cards I try and use comes up ‘payment refused’ ??!! Anyone have the same issue? Please help !!

Must be your bank. I booked 3 tickets before i went from UK then bought another while stood next to the massive queue. I used a mastercard if thats of any use.
Can I just go to room of Eiffel Tower missing second floor?

If you want to know whether you can avoid the second floor , I am sure that is possible, as they are separate tickets to the top floor and separate tickets to the 2nd floor
Will I be able to picnic on the lawn in front of Eiffel Tower or visit the Trocodero Gardens Aug 27 - Aug 30 after the main Olympics? Will there still be any construction blocking the usage of these areas?

This park gets closed by 7 pm. Please che k the timings, as we went in early June.
