I think I am getting the picture, but just to be clear, am I safe to drive my 30ft C Class motorhome on the compact sand? The park site says 4x4 is highly recommended, but is this just being over cautious?

Im a little nervous taking my honda crv (not 4wd) on the sand. Is there a place to park your car and a service company to drive you to your campsite? :) Or is this totally not needed and we just need to stay on packed sand and park wherever?

Just stay on hard sand. The ranger will tell you where not to drive past. We took our RWD sprinter van and were fine.
